ClayWays Summer Camps for Kids 2010
Kids have a great time using their creative talents at ClayWays’ 1/2-day summer camps from 8:30 a.m. to Noon.
Older kids (ages 11 and up) learn to use a potter’s wheel, and they create unique handbuilt pieces with clay as well.
Younger kids (ages 6 -10) have fun working with slab, coils and extruded clay (think big Play-Doh fun factory) making hand-built pieces such as animal rattles, masks, and bowls. The younger kids will also be making other types of art projects, such as kites, drawings, and paintings.
- We allow only 14 participants in each camp
- Each class has an instructor, and an assistant if class
- has more than 8 participants.
- All instructors have previous teaching and clay/art experience.
- All camps are $190
